Our Story
GettaGrip Motorsports started with a simple goal — build something real together.
My journey into drifting began while I was stationed in Japan in the U.S. Air Force. A supervisor took me out to the track, and from that moment on, I was hooked. I spent the next two years learning, driving, and experiencing real drift culture firsthand.
Now, I’m bringing that passion back here to the States — but this time, it’s bigger than just me.
I get to build this alongside my son, who has always shared the same passion for cars and drifting. What started as a personal journey has turned into something we can grow together — and eventually share with other like-minded drivers.
Every decal, every design, and every step forward is part of that journey.

Meet The Team
Joseph Davis
Founder • Driver •Veteran
Joseph Davis is a U.S. Air Force veteran and the founder of GettaGrip Motorsports. He served as an F-16 aerospace propulsion (jet engine) mechanic, where precision, discipline, and attention to detail were critical every day.
His journey into drifting began while stationed in Japan, where he was introduced to the track and quickly developed a deep passion for motorsports and drift culture.
After gaining hands-on experience both in the military and on the track, Joseph brought that mindset back to the United States to build something of his own — combining custom automotive design with real motorsports influence.
Today, he is building GettaGrip Motorsports alongside his son, with a vision of growing it into a full drift team and a brand rooted in precision, authenticity, and real car culture.
Nathan Davis
Co-Founder • Technician•Driver
ASE certified. Hands-on experience. Built for motorsports.
Nathan Davis is ASE B2 certified in Painting and Refinishing and has worked as a body technician with Feld Entertainment on Monster Jam trucks — where precision, durability, and quality are critical.
His passion for JDM cars, drifting, and custom automotive builds drives everything he does.
At GettaGrip Motorsports, he brings both technical skill and creative vision — helping build not just cars, but a brand and future drift team from the ground up
